Which teachers should I avoid for...

ENG 2300 Brit Lit I
ENG 2802 - Canadian Lit
and
ENG 2006 - Children's Lit

I'm not really sure where to look (aside from ratemyprof.com, which isn't very helpful 90% of the time)

Any recommendations/words of warning are appreciated :)

For childrens lit, im pretty sure there is only one professor, isn't there? I believe it's just lovejoy but I could be wrong.

Avoid Bly-Cailkin for 2300 unless you like workshopping papers and her getting mad at the class all the time like you're in grade 1.

yeah, Lovejoy is the only children's lit prof. he's a good guy though.

i'm not sure if Beecher is still around for brit lit I, but avoid him at all costs.

i've actually found ratemyproffessors.com to be very helpful.

Collett Tracey is AMAZING. Take Canlit with her. The course is fun, interesting and interactive.

Lovejoy is great for Children's Lit. Avoid Beecher and Bohm at all costs. I lucked out and had Healey for both Can. lit and Australian lit. He was great.
